AlphaScala Daily: Gold tears to 4,199, NKE cluster buy

Wednesday, August 5, 2026

Good morning.

Gold ripped nearly 3% overnight to 4,199, the loudest move on a tape where the dollar crosses barely twitched and crypto sat flat, with BTC near 64,200. Four Nike insiders put down a net $2.17M over the past 90 days, the standout on today's signal tape next to a 10-insider dribble at TSM. Grupo Cibest tops the model at 82, edging Hudbay and U.S. Bancorp. Congressman Jim Himes, meanwhile, dumped both BAC and XOM. Here's what matters.
