TriNet HR Plus hits 40K users, adds AI payroll tools

The AI support tool automates answers to common HR questions. The payroll packages offer tiered pricing for different company sizes. Both additions aim to reduce the time managers spend on administrative tasks.

TriNet competes with ADP and Paychex in the SMB HR market. The company did not disclose a user target for the next 12 months.

The rollout follows a broader shift among small employers toward cloud-based HR systems. Industry data shows adoption rates rising as firms seek to cut overhead. TriNet's growth rate puts it ahead of some peers, though the overall market remains fragmented.

TriNet plans to add further features in the coming quarters, the company said without specifying a timeline.
