Vibe coding startup Rocket is in advanced talks with Susquehanna International Group (SIG) to raise a Series A round, sources told Inc42.
“The startup has held multiple rounds of discussions with SIG for its Series A round. The talks are progressing well,” one of the sources said. Existing investors, including Salesforce Ventures and Accel, are expected to participate alongside SIG, the sources added. Inc42 could not independently confirm the size of the round. Rocket didn’t respond to queries before publication.
The discussions come less than a year after Rocket raised $15 million in seed funding led by Salesforce Ventures and Accel, with participation from Together Fund. Founded in 2021 by Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak, Rocket offers an AI platform that lets users build apps, dashboards, and internal tools by typing instructions in natural language.
The Surat-based startup operates on a freemium model. Its free tier includes 1 million tokens, while paid plans start at $25 and $50 a month. Higher-tier plans add private projects, code downloads, and the ability to opt out of data training. In April, Rocket launched an enterprise version called Rocket 1.0, which helps businesses build apps and analyze competition post-launch, generating documentation on strategy and competition analysis.
Rocket claims the US is its strongest market, contributing 26% of total revenue. Europe accounts for 15–20%, while India brings in about 10%.
The fundraising push comes as investor interest in AI coding platforms is rising. Earlier this year, former Dunzo cofounder Mukund Jha’s vibe coding startup Emergent raised $70 million and is reportedly in talks for another round at a unicorn valuation. Globally, Elon Musk’s xAI bought Cursor for $15 billion. According to Inc42’s ‘Annual Indian Startup Trends Report 2025’, Indian AI startups raised nearly $500 million across 63 deals in 2025.
