Paladin Energy re-filed PLS reserves under JORC, matching prior NI 43-101 numbers. No grade or tonnage changes. Shares flat in Sydney.
Paladin Energy Ltd re-filed its mineral resource and ore reserve estimates for the Patterson Lake South project in Saskatchewan under the JORC Code, the company said Wednesday. The move brings the Australian disclosure standard in line with the NI 43-101 technical reports the company already publishes for its Canadian listing.
The PLS project is a shallow, high-grade uranium deposit in northern Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. Paladin owns 75% of the Langer Heinrich mine in Namibia, which is already producing, and is developing PLS as a second long-life asset. The company also holds exploration ground in Australia and Canada.
The JORC-compliant numbers cover the same mineral inventory Paladin has previously reported under Canadian rules. No new tonnage or grade changes were announced. The company said the filing was authorized by the board.
Paladin trades on the ASX, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the OTCQX. The company's shares were flat in Sydney trading after the announcement.
