Agoda, the digital travel platform owned by Booking Holdings (BKNG), rolled out a series of new features Wednesday aimed at making trip planning less stressful. The updates include real-time flight notifications, a photo-first hotel search called Gallery View, and an AI system that pairs hotel images with relevant guest reviews. The tools are available now on Agoda's iOS and Android apps.
Once a traveler books a flight on Agoda, the app automatically pushes two to three alerts per trip covering gate changes, terminal info, check-in counters, and baggage carousels. On the hotel side, the AI-powered review pairing means a photo of a pool is matched directly to what other guests said about that pool, rather than a generic hotel rating.
