Patients from New York to Kentucky traveled to Chicago for advanced dental implants, Dr. Irfan Atcha said. The New Teeth Chicago dentist has placed more than 20,000 implants over 30 years, many for people who had failed treatments elsewhere.
Laura came from Syracuse after multiple bone grafts and sinus lifts left her without upper teeth. A surgeon suggested zygomatic implants, a specialized procedure. "I bought my plane ticket," she said. Dr. Atcha reviewed her case and fitted the implants. Today she calls the trip "one of the best decisions" she has made.
