Zurich's new life sciences offering bundles product liability and property cover for life sciences firms across the UK and Europe. The program is globally coordinated, the insurer said.
Zurich launched a life sciences insurance offering in the UK and Europe, the insurer said. The program is designed to address critical risk exposures for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology companies.
The coverage spans product liability, property, business interruption, marine, and accident and health risks. Zurich said the solution combines specialist underwriting with its risk engineering and claims capabilities.
The offering provides end-to-end protection across the life sciences value chain. Zurich said the program is locally admitted in each market but globally coordinated, allowing multinational life sciences firms to secure consistent coverage across jurisdictions.
The insurer said the launch targets the sector's need for consolidated, cross-border insurance programs that cover complex liability and supply chain exposures.
