Zendaya Says Tom Holland's Boundary-Setting Is a Quality She Admires

"You're good at setting the boundaries really clearly, really strong," Zendaya said. "I like that you really know what you feel is right for yourself, and you do it, and for others. You're very protective in that way."

When it was his turn to answer, Holland ended the exchange with a joke. "Speaking of boundaries, I'm not going to share my most valuable piece of advice I got from Zendaya," he said.

The couple, who have been in a public relationship since 2021, have spoken about the influence they have had on each other. In a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, Zendaya said it is "strangely comfortable" acting alongside Holland. "It's like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you're acting beside. I love working with him. He's so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he's absolutely worn down," she said.

Earlier this month, Holland said he initially hesitated to accept a role in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" because filming would overlap with "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Zendaya, he said, jokingly told him she would "leave" him if he turned it down. The scheduling conflict was resolved after Sony delayed production, allowing the couple to appear in both films. "The Odyssey" hits theaters on July 17, while "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" opens July 31.
