The Zambian government has commissioned a $500,000 solar power system and refrigerated truck at the National Vaccine Store to maintain vaccine potency nationwide, Secretary to Cabinet Patrick Kangwa said Sunday.
Speaking at the launch of Round 3 of the National Oral Polio Vaccination campaign, Kangwa urged parents to ensure all children under five receive the polio vaccine. The campaign runs under the theme "Every Child Vaccinated, Every Community Protected."
