Webull Securities Limited in Hong Kong has launched Vega AI, an artificial intelligence-powered product that connects market analysis, company research, strategy development and trade execution on a single platform, the company said Wednesday.
The tool, unveiled at a Hong Kong event attended by more than 160 media representatives and institutional partners, uses real-time interactive enquiry to let users explore relationships among financial indicators, business performance and market reactions. Unlike some AI investment tools that provide analysis without a direct execution path, Vega AI includes a one-click investing function. All trading instructions must be reviewed and confirmed by the user.
Wang Haichen, Webull HK's chief executive officer, said AI's value lies not in how many features it offers but in its ability to connect professional research, global market access and the trading experience. "The launch of Vega AI marks Webull HK's next step from professional trading towards smart investment," he said. The company aims to make professional tools more intuitive and personalized for retail investors.
Vega AI covers three use cases: daily stock briefings that help users review company performance quickly, interactive queries that link financial data with market reactions for earnings interpretation, and a workflow that moves from analysis to order placement without leaving the platform. To accommodate Hong Kong users, the tool supports real-time voice interaction.
The product was designed around data security and user autonomy. Vega AI encrypts user conversations and keeps the AI system separate from core account systems. It does not execute trades automatically, and all investment decisions must be made by the user.
Webull HK plans two development tracks for Vega AI. First, deeper AI support for US options and other key trading products, covering the full pre-trade, trade and post-trade journey. Second, an open MCP architecture to connect AI computing, quantitative models and data services, opening the platform to market participants.
The company also plans to introduce South Korean stock trading for Hong Kong investors, adding to existing access to US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, China A-shares and Japanese stocks. Canadian stock trading is on the development roadmap.
The product launch included a panel discussion with executives from Nasdaq and the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Panellists examined current applications of AI in investing, challenges including data security and regulatory compliance, and how AI could help retail investors build more disciplined research processes.
Webull HK is a subsidiary of Webull Corporation (NASDAQ: BULL), which operates a digital investment platform serving more than 28 million registered users across 18 markets, the company said.
