Warrior, the sports nutrition brand, has launched a redesigned version of its bestselling CRUNCH protein bar. The new CRUNCH Soft Core range swaps the original texture for a softer center, layered with gooey caramel and protein crispies, finished in a smooth chocolate coating. The bar is already on shelves at Tesco and Asda, with Morrisons also stocking it.
Each bar sells for £2 and delivers 20g of protein. Calorie count is under 210, and sugar content runs as low as 0.9g – among the lowest in the category, the company said. The range comes in six flavors, including White Chocolate, Banoffee Pie, and Dark Chocolate Peanut.
Since its original launch, CRUNCH has sold more than 50 million units across 33 countries. The new soft-core recipe is meant to push the product further, not fix a broken one, said Kieran Fisher, Warrior's founder. “Consumers increasingly expect functional nutrition to taste exceptional, and this range delivers exactly that,” he said. “We want genuinely good nutrition to be accessible to anyone living a busy, active lifestyle – not reserved for those who can afford to pay more for it.”
Warrior manufactures the bars in UK GMP-certified facilities. The product is available now to retailers, as well as on TeamWarrior.com and Amazon UK.
