Veteran Litigator John Hanify Joins Signature Resolution Panel

John D. Hanify, a commercial litigator who co-founded Hanify & King and later led Jones Day's Boston litigation practice, has joined Signature Resolution's panel of neutrals as a mediator. The firm announced the appointment Monday.
Hanify will handle business and commercial disputes including shareholder litigation, financial institution matters, ERISA claims, and partnership conflicts. His career spans four decades, starting in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts. He co-founded Hanify & King in 1980 and built it into a 40-lawyer firm with offices in Boston, Washington, D.C., and New York City before moving to Jones Day.
