Vaalco Energy declared a $0.0625 quarterly dividend, its 19th consecutive payout. The Sept. 22 payment is set, but future dividends depend on oil prices and board approval.
Vaalco Energy declared a quarterly dividend of $0.0625 a share, the company said Thursday, extending its streak to 19 straight quarters. The payment is due Sept. 22 to holders of record Aug. 21.
“We are pleased to announce our third quarter 2026 dividend, our 19th consecutive quarterly dividend,” said George Maxwell, Vaalco’s chief executive. “This is underpinned by our strong cash generation from our high quality portfolio of assets.”
Future dividends remain at the board’s discretion. The company listed financial results, balance sheet strength, oil and natural gas prices, and cash needs among the factors that could alter the payout. The board reserves the right to revise or cancel the dividend at any time without notice, the press release said.
Vaalco operates oil and gas assets in Gabon, Egypt, Côte d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea. The company flagged risks tied to maintenance of the FPSO servicing its Baobab field and other factors in its most recent annual filing.
The next dividend beyond the third quarter has not been approved. The board will decide based on conditions closer to the declaration date.
