UWA Taps SRM Tech for India Campus Build in Accelerated Five-Month Sprint

David Das, UWA India's chief operating officer, said the university needed a partner that understood both higher education and the technology layer. The accelerated deployment timeline – full environment in five months – is aggressive for a campus IT rollout that includes an entire student lifecycle system plus finance, HR, and networking. SRM runs a separate Education Technology Business Unit that the company says has become a differentiator for international universities setting up in India.

SRM also sits on the Victorian Government's School Software Panel in Australia, providing Unified School Management System solutions to K-12 schools there.

The University of Western Australia is ranked in the global top 100 and is a founding member of the Group of Eight, Australia's coalition of research-intensive universities. Admissions for the India campuses opened this week, with scholarships available.
