President Trump's financial disclosure shows over 1,000 trades in June, with a $1M-$5M Berkshire buy and smaller Visa purchases. Alpha Score 57 for BRK.B, 72 for V.
President Donald Trump made more than 1,000 securities trades in June, including significant purchases of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and Visa Inc., according to a financial disclosure published Saturday by the US Office of Government Ethics.
The filing shows the transactions totaled between $78.1 million and $263.1 million, with each trade reported as a range rather than an exact figure. The single largest transaction was a June 22 sale of between $5 million and $25 million of shares in a Vanguard Group Inc. exchange-traded fund.
On June 18, the trust bought between $1 million and $5 million of Berkshire Hathaway. It sold a smaller amount of the same stock on June 24. Visa purchases appeared later in the month, though the filing does not specify the exact size. Other trades included Mastercard Inc., Cintas Corp., Coinbase Global Inc., and Home Depot Inc. The trust also traded Palantir Technologies Inc. and Meta Platforms Inc. multiple times in June, buying and selling the same securities on separate dates.
The White House said there are no conflicts of interest because Trump’s investments are independently managed. Trump’s son Eric, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, has said the assets are held in a blind trust.
The purchases of Berkshire and Visa tilt the trust’s portfolio toward large-cap financials. Berkshire, a conglomerate with insurance, railroad, and utility holdings, is often viewed as a proxy for the broader economy. Visa, the payments processor, tracks consumer spending trends.
On AlphaScala, Berkshire carries a score of 57 out of 100, labeled Moderate. Visa scores 72, also Moderate, and its shares rose 1.45% to $371.04 on the day of the disclosure.
Trump made more than 21,000 securities trades in 2025, often in bursts tied to market events. The total value of his trades last year ranged between $600 million and $1.86 billion. The June disclosure is the latest in a series of quarterly filings that have drawn scrutiny over the volume and timing of trades.
