A 10-day trial has been set for Brodie Jake Dewar, the man accused of killing former Mineral Resources executive Tim Picton. Dewar pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.
The trial date was confirmed in court on Monday. Dewar, 33, is charged over the death of Picton, 66, who died in March 2024 after an incident at a property in the Perth Hills.
Picton was a well-known figure in Western Australia's mining and resources sector. He spent more than a decade at Mineral Resources, serving as chief financial officer and later as an executive director before retiring in 2022.
