Three ground engineering firms form sub-alliance for Sizewell C

Three ground engineering companies have formed the Geotechnical Sub-Alliance (GSA) for the Sizewell C nuclear project, a structure the developer said may be the first time three firms have come together for this kind of sub-alliance in geoengineering.

Sizewell C said the GSA combines world-leading expertise in ground engineering and major infrastructure delivery. The three firms have supported large infrastructure projects in challenging ground conditions.

The sub-alliance sits within Sizewell C's Civil Works Alliance (CWA), which includes Balfour Beatty, Laing O'Rourke, and Bouygues Travaux Publics. The CWA delivers the main civil works on the project.
