threatER launches EnforceDNS and cloud-managed logging, completing HYAS Protect integration. AV-Test verified the DNS tech that blocks attacker infrastructure weeks before activation.
threatER released two platform features Monday, EnforceDNS and Managed Logging, completing the integration of HYAS Protect assets it bought in late 2025. The Tysons, Va.-based cybersecurity firm said the products unify threat blocking and log analysis across network and DNS layers.
EnforceDNS is a cloud-based protective DNS system that blocks malicious domains before they become active. The technology uses real-time threat intelligence and global data analysis to identify attacker infrastructure weeks ahead of an attack, threatER said. AV-Test gave the underlying DNS technology top scores for detection and protection effectiveness.
Managed Logging merges network logs from the existing Enforce product with EnforceDNS logs into a single cloud-hosted dashboard. Customers no longer need separate systems or their own data lakes to see who clicked what and why it was blocked, the company said.
"We aren't just blocking threats at the edge, we are giving security teams the absolute visibility and control they need over remote, hybrid, and corporate environments," CEO Brian McMahon said in a statement.
The release lands as mid-market cybersecurity buyers consolidate vendors. threatER competes with Cisco's Umbrella, Palo Alto Networks DNS Security, and Cloudflare's Zero Trust platform. Gartner pegs the protective DNS market at roughly $1.2 billion.
threatER was founded in 2019 and has raised about $45 million in venture funding, including a Series B round led by Razor's Edge Ventures in 2023. Terms of the HYAS Protect acquisition were not disclosed.
Both products are available immediately to existing and new customers as core components of the threatER platform.
