Vorwerk's Thermomix TasteMaster Cook-Off 2026 in Singapore pits home cooks using the TM7 against celebrity judges. Live finale Aug. 15 with S$2,000 prize.
Vorwerk will stage its first Thermomix TasteMaster Cook-Off in Singapore on Aug. 15 at Paya Lebar Quarter Plaza. Home cooks will use the new TM7 blender-cooker to prepare a dish and share the personal story behind it. The winner receives a TM7 and S$2,000.
The cook-off caps a week-long roadshow from Aug. 10 to 16 at the same venue, with live demonstrations and activities. Vorwerk, the German direct-sales company founded in 1883, said Singaporeans are cooking more at home as living costs rise, a shift it sees as an opportunity for its kitchen appliances. The company had consolidated sales of EUR 3.6 billion in 2025 and operates in about 60 countries.
"Every home kitchen holds stories that deserve to be celebrated," said Christine Wong, General Manager for Vorwerk Singapore and Malaysia. "Food has always been at the heart of Singaporean culture and identity, connecting people through shared traditions, flavours, and experiences. At Thermomix, we believe cooking has the power to shape what comes next and the Thermomix TasteMaster Cook-Off 2026 is our way of celebrating the possibilities and story behind every homemade dish."
Judging the finalists are chef-artist Janice Wong and cooking creators Lennard Yeong and Javier Tan. "Every dish tells a story. Food has a remarkable ability to capture our memories, experiences and emotions in ways that are deeply personal," Janice Wong said.
Submissions are open until July 26 via Instagram or the official campaign website. Entrants may enter solo or as a duo with a family member, friend, or Thermomix advisor. Selected finalists will cook live on Aug. 15.
