Testron Group Offers University Pricing for Pressure Testers

Testron Group, a maker of hydrostatic pressure testing equipment, launched an Educational Development Program for U.S. universities. The program gives academic labs institutional pricing, a five-year warranty, and staff training, the company said.

The offering targets departments that rely on outdated testing rigs. Modern equipment from Testron can run multiple tests simultaneously on materials such as PVC, PE, and composite blends, according to the company. The machines maintain fluid pressure automatically, even during power fluctuations, and support long-duration endurance tests that can run for years.

Testron said the program helps labs meet ASTM and ISO standards. The company also cited the value of hands-on experience for engineering students. The program is available now, the company said, without disclosing specific pricing.
