Teriyaki Madness offers a $1 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl on June 17 for loyalty members who buy a regular or large bowl, pushing its vegetable-heavy standard menu.
Teriyaki Madness (TMAD) is using National Eat Your Veggies Day on June 17 to push its vegetable-heavy bowls, offering a $1 junior or regular Chicken Teriyaki Bowl to customers who sign up for its Mad Rewards loyalty program by June 16 and buy any regular or large bowl that day.
The chain's stir-fry mix includes cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, onions, and carrots, wok-tossed in sauce and included in every bowl as a standard component. Chief marketing officer Jodi Boyce said the brand does not charge extra for vegetable add-ons, calling that practice common among competitors.
"Too many brands nickel-and-dime guests for fresh vegetable add-ons that should already be part of the meal," Boyce said in a statement. "We believe when veggies are done right, they hold their own in the bowl, and are often what people enjoy the most."
The promotion runs June 17 only. Customers must join Mad Rewards by the day before to qualify. The offer applies to regular or large bowls purchased that day, with the $1 Chicken Teriyaki Bowl available in junior or regular size.
Teriyaki Madness operates roughly 150 locations across the U.S., focused on fast-casual Japanese-style bowls with protein options including chicken, steak, and tofu. The brand has been expanding its loyalty program as a way to drive repeat visits and collect customer data for targeted offers.
National Eat Your Veggies Day is an unofficial observance that food brands have used in recent years to promote vegetable-heavy menu items. TMAD's approach ties the day to its existing bowl format rather than introducing a limited-time item.
