Teck Resources and Anglo American named the executive leadership team for the combined company Anglo Teck, a move that brings the merger one step closer to completion. The team takes effect once the deal closes, which the companies expect between September 2026 and March 2027, subject to final regulatory approval.
Duncan Wanblad, Anglo American's CEO, will serve as CEO of Anglo Teck. Jonathan Price, currently Teck's CEO, will become deputy CEO and serve on the board. Nic Hooper will continue as chief corporate development officer, both reporting to Jonathan Price.
