Sweden school attack: 18-year-old kills 1, wounds 3 with sword

An 18-year-old former student at Brinell High School in Sweden killed one person and wounded three others Friday after attacking with a sword, authorities said.

The suspect, who had previously attended the school, was taken into custody by police. Officials did not immediately release a motive or details about the victims.

The attack unfolded during school hours in what police described as a rampage through parts of the campus. Emergency services responded to reports of an armed assailant and found multiple people injured, one fatally.
