Revenue hit INR 1,910 Cr, EBITDA INR 397 Cr — both records. Data center business scaled as AI demand boosted product mix. Order book at INR 18,618 Cr.
STL posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit for the three months ended June 30, driven by demand for AI-ready data center infrastructure and a stronger product mix.
The connectivity solutions provider reported revenue of INR 1,910 crore, up 87% from a year earlier. EBITDA rose 184% to INR 397 crore, the company said in a statement. Both figures were records.
EBITDA margin hit 20.8%, the best in nearly 20 quarters. The improvement came from a better product mix and higher operating leverage, according to the statement. The data center business contributed a larger share of revenue, reflecting STL's alignment with the AI-led buildout of computing infrastructure.
STL raised INR 1,500 crore through a qualified institutions placement during the quarter. The proceeds allowed the company to become net debt free, the statement said. The stronger balance sheet triggered rating actions: CRISIL revised its outlook to Stable, ICRA upgraded STL's credit rating to AA (Stable).
The open order book stood at INR 18,618 crore at the end of the quarter, also a record. The company did not break out order book composition by segment. Management pointed to strong demand from hyperscalers and telecom operators.
"Q1 FY'27 has been the strongest quarter in STL's history," said Ankit Agarwal, managing director. "The rapid scale-up in our Data Center business shows how decisively we've aligned with the AI infrastructure buildout."
STL's patent portfolio now stands at 785 patents, the company said. The win that triggered the announcement reinforced its position in optical connectivity markets across the UK and Europe.
The company manufactures optical fiber, connectivity products, and data center solutions. Its facilities span North America, Europe, and Asia. STL sells to data center operators, telecom carriers, internet service providers, and large enterprises.
Agarwal said the company expects to keep delivering solutions that drive customer growth, supported by the record order book and customer trust.
Shares of STL (NSE: STLTECH) closed at INR 1,285 on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday, up 2.3% from the previous session. The stock has risen 34% over the past year.
