Comms Group sells onPlatinum for $30M, Neuren Pharma's Rett drug gets EU recommendation, and SRJ Tech signs robotics MoU with Nexxis. Three stocks, three catalysts.
Three stocks dominated the HotCopper forums early this week, each driven by a distinct catalyst. Comms Group (ASX:CCG) rose 23% to 9.1 cents after announcing the $30 million sale of its IT managed services division, onPlatinum, to Thinkex Holdings. The divestment lets Comms refocus on cloud communications and unified communications, the company said.
Neuren Pharmaceuticals (ASX:NEU) jumped 28.9% to $15.72 after its Rett syndrome treatment, Daybu (trofinetide), received a recommendation for European marketing authorisation. If approved, Daybu would be the first therapy for that indication in the EU, covering adults and paediatric patients aged five and older. Neuren is set to receive US$35 million after the first commercial sale under its European licence agreement.
SRJ Technologies (ASX:SRJ) gained 27.3% to 1.4 cents after signing a memorandum of understanding with Nexxis for a global robotics collaboration. The MoU outlines a phased approach to technology access and commercial development, including a potential leaseback model that would give SRJ's Air Control Entech unit access to Nexxis' OEM-maintained robotic platforms. "This MoU is the starting point for what we believe can be a genuinely significant partnership between SRJ and Nexxis," CEO Kurt Reeves said.
The S&P/ASX 200 rose 20.7 points, or 0.24%, on the session.
