Sombr drops 'My Body Isn't Ready,' debuts it on Fallon

June 26 (UPI) -- Sombr released his third single of 2026 on Friday. The 20-year-old singer-songwriter put out "My Body Isn't Ready" alongside a music video for the track.

The video places Sombr at a house party where he feels like an outsider until he connects with a woman played by Obsession actress Inde Navarrette. Lyrically, the song navigates insecurity and self-doubt.

"I hope this song can mean different things to different people," Sombr wrote on Instagram. "It can be taken as a metaphor. Or it can be taken literally as a description of how I have perceived my own body, for my whole life. I wanted to write about my struggle so that other people who may also be struggling know that they are not alone. You are beautiful, and I love you."

Sombr also performed the track Thursday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, marking the song's television debut. "My Body Isn't Ready" is the third single from his forthcoming second studio album, following "Homewrecker" and "Potential."

The singer will launch his first North American tour July 22 in Mexico City and wrap it Nov. 23 in New York.
