SingWealth Holdings launches PFP Capital in Hong Kong, an SFC-licensed asset manager led by veteran fund manager Wendy Zhang, targeting professional investors with global equity strategies.
SingWealth Holdings has launched PFP Capital Limited, a Hong Kong-based asset management firm licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission. The move extends the group's regional footprint and adds a dedicated investment pillar under its long-term growth strategy.
Jeffrey Chow, Executive Director and Group CEO of SingWealth Holdings, called the launch "an important milestone" in the company's regional expansion. "As global markets continue to evolve, we see increasing demand for professionally managed strategies that help investors navigate emerging opportunities with discipline," he said. "Hong Kong remains a strategic base for our asset management arm."
PFP Capital will manage an open-ended fund company and discretionary mandates for professional investors under Hong Kong regulations, as well as in other jurisdictions where the fund is recognised. The firm targets eligible investors under the Securities and Futures Ordinance.
Wendy Zhang, Fund Manager of PFP Capital, leads the investment strategy. She brings more than 25 years of experience across public markets and private equity, with a focus on technology and innovation-driven businesses. "We are witnessing significant shifts across industries and markets driven by technological innovation, changing consumer behaviour, and evolving economic trends," Zhang said. "Our focus is on identifying opportunities through a disciplined and research-driven investment approach."
The launch follows a pattern of Asian wealth managers building out Hong Kong asset management capabilities to capture demand from regional high-net-worth and institutional clients. SingWealth's existing operations span Singapore and other Asian markets.
PFP Capital's investment approach centres on global equity markets with an emphasis on risk management. The firm is structured for professional investors only and does not offer products to the general public.
