Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge opens its first Dallas location on July 25, adding a second Texas venue for the hospitality concept that pairs racing simulators with chef-curated dining.
The venue at 9830 N. Central Expressway, Suite 400, inside The Hill shopping center, launches with a car meet, live DJ and an in-house sim racing tournament. Qualifying sessions run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with entry fees starting at $25. The fastest drivers advance to a championship race at 1 p.m., followed by a podium ceremony. Regular service begins at 2:30 p.m.
Founder Viet Tran said the concept relies on more than the simulators to keep guests engaged. "The simulators will bring people through the doors, it's everything around them that makes them stay," Tran said. "We're creating an environment where people can connect, share a great meal, celebrate milestones and be part of something bigger than what's happening behind the wheel."
