Shalfa Facilities Management received a SAR 366.5 million award from Tatweer for grounds and building services at education facilities in Qassim, under a framework signed in April.
Shalfa Facilities Management Co. received an award notification from Tatweer Buildings Co. for a contract valued at SAR 366.49 million, excluding VAT. The contract covers cleaning and maintenance services for school buildings in the Qassim region, along with gatekeeping duties, Shalfa said in a statement to Tadawul.
The award falls under a framework agreement Shalfa signed with Tatweer in April 2025. That agreement covered integrated facility management services for school buildings and private institutes in the central region. Qassim is the first zone to receive a formal tranche under that framework. Shalfa said there are no related parties to the transaction.
The contract value is material for Shalfa. The company derives most of its revenue from facility management contracts with government and semi-government entities in Saudi Arabia. Recurring service contracts provide multi-year revenue visibility.
Other service providers have also won sizable government contracts this year. MEDGULF won a SAR 216 million health insurance contract from BIHG.
Shalfa's stock has been relatively quiet in recent months. The contract award provides a near-term catalyst if the market views it as the start of a larger rollout under the central region framework. Investors will watch for execution updates in the coming quarters. Key questions include whether Shalfa can manage labor deployment efficiently across the Qassim school network and whether other zones will see similar awards.
The company did not specify the contract duration. First-half earnings, due by August, will show the initial revenue and cost impact from the Qassim contract.
