SEI named Rob Wrzesniewski to lead Stratos technology as independent advisors demand more integrated digital tools for wealth management.
SEI appointed Rob Wrzesniewski as head of Stratos technology, the company said Monday. Wrzesniewski will oversee the technology strategy for SEI's Stratos wealth platform, which serves independent financial advisors.
SEI is investing in digital infrastructure to support the platform's growth. Independent advisors are pushing for more integrated tools that reduce manual work and improve client reporting. Stratos is SEI's answer to that demand.
Wrzesniewski joins SEI from a previous role in fintech strategy. He will report to the head of SEI's wealth platforms division. A start date was not disclosed.
SEI has been expanding its wealth management technology offerings. The Stratos platform competes with similar systems from Envestnet and Fidelity's Wealthscape.
