Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share Index closed nine points lower at 11,096 on Thursday, with total turnover of about SAR 6.5 billion. The index touched a high of 11,159 and a low of 11,091.
Saudi Aramco fell more than 1% to SAR 26.58 on about 17 million shares worth SAR 440 million. The drop followed a 4% slide in oil prices that pushed Brent crude near $83 a barrel.
Al Rajhi Bank slipped less than 1% to SAR 66.70. Almarai, Bupa Arabia, ADES, Petro Rabigh, SIIG, SRMG and Alujain all lost between 2% and 4%. Luberef was the worst performer, down 5%.
On the upside, Saudi Cement jumped 7% to SAR 33.42 after announcing a cash dividend. Naseej was the top gainer, surging 9% on volume of more than 1.1 million shares.
