Robertson completes Gateshead office refurb at Baltic Works

Robertson's North East division finished a major refurbishment of Baltic Works in Gateshead. The company's own office sits inside the building, and founder Sir Bill Robertson is a director of South Shore, the landlord.

The 131,000 sq ft Grade A office, 10 storeys high, now has a 24/7 gym with changing rooms, a redesigned courtyard with seating and planting, high-speed broadband, parcel lockers, a self-serve micro market and a modern business lounge. The reception area got new finishes and energy-efficient lighting that helped the building keep its BREEAM Excellent rating.

EV charging points were added in the surface and basement car parks, available around the clock. Baltic Works is within walking distance of Newcastle City Centre.

The building already houses Santander, Northern Gas & Power and insurance brokers Gallagher and Lockton. More space remains available for tenants seeking Grade A offices with a wellness focus.
