Sam Hartmann, who helped discover the $1.14B Triple R uranium deposit, becomes REV's COO as the helium explorer prepares drilling in Montana and Alberta.
Alpha Score of 42 reflects weak overall profile with weak momentum, poor value, weak quality, weak sentiment.
REV Exploration Corp. appointed Sam Hartmann as chief operating officer, effective Aug. 1, 2026. Hartmann, a director since September 2025, brings more than 15 years of mineral exploration experience focused on Canada's Athabasca Basin. He was part of the Fission Uranium technical team that discovered the Triple R uranium deposit, later acquired by Paladin Energy for an implied equity value of $1.14 billion CAD. He also played a key role in F3 Uranium's Patterson Lake North JR Zone discovery in 2022 and led the team behind the Tetra Zone discovery at the Broach Lake Property in April 2025.
Hartmann's appointment comes as REV prepares to drill its helium and natural hydrogen targets in Montana and southern Alberta. The company holds roughly 14,000 acres of oil and gas leasehold interests in Montana and a series of PNG leases along the Alberta-Montana border, including the drill-ready Aden Dome Project. REV also owns six million shares of MAX Power Mining, which is advancing its Lawson Natural Hydrogen discovery toward commercial validation, and converted its Quebec gold assets into 12.4 million shares of Major Gold. Eric Sprott is REV's largest shareholder.
"Sam has been an outstanding contributor to our Board since joining REV, and his technical depth and operational discipline make him exactly the right person to lead execution as we scale our Helium and Natural Hydrogen programs," CEO Jordan Potts said in the release. "Bringing Sam on as COO allows REV to move faster and more efficiently across every project in our portfolio."
Hartmann holds a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and is a registered professional geoscientist in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. He is a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 standards. The company's broader commodities analysis context shows helium and natural hydrogen remain early-stage exploration plays, with few publicly traded companies holding drill-ready permits in the Northern Great Plains. REV's dual focus on helium and hydrogen, combined with its uranium discovery pedigree in the management team, differentiates it from peers that concentrate on a single commodity.
The company did not disclose any change in its share structure or financing plans alongside the appointment. Drilling plans for Montana and Alberta have not been assigned a specific start date.
