Resolution Minerals extends Idaho gold system with 305.7m intercept at Golden Gate South
All three initial diamond holes at Golden Gate South returned mineralisation from surface, with the strongest intercept running 305.7 metres at 0.64 g/t gold. Another 28 holes are pending assay as drilling extends to mid September.

Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) has extended the known gold system at its Golden Gate South prospect in Idaho, with all three initial diamond holes returning significant mineralisation from surface.
The strongest result was 305.7 metres at 0.64 grams per tonne gold from surface in hole HH-GG26-003C. Several higher grade zones sat within the broader intercept, including 6.5 metres at 1.33 grams per tonne from 62 metres and 17.25 metres at 1.19 grams per tonne from 264.85 metres.
The other two holes also returned broad near surface mineralisation. HH-GG26-001C delivered 49.5 metres at 0.58 grams per tonne from surface. HH-GG26-002C returned 32.6 metres at 0.49 grams per tonne from surface.
The results extend known gold mineralisation at least 2,000 metres south of Golden Gate North. Resolution said the drilling confirmed discovery status at Golden Gate South.
The company reported gold mineralisation continued through to the base of HH-GG26-003C. The drilling also identified zones of shearing, silicification, quartz veining and pyrite associated with the mineralised system.
