Regis Resources Safety Record Improves, LTIFR Falls to 0.3

Regis Resources reported a lower lost-time injury frequency rate of 0.3 for the June quarter, beating the Western Australian gold industry average. "The 12-month moving average lost time injury frequency rate finished the quarter a little bit further down at 0.3," Jim Beyer, the company's managing director and CEO, said on the earnings call. The industry average is currently running at about 1 from nearly 2 years ago, he said. The company is focusing on leadership and discipline to support safe operations. Regis last week released its fiscal 2027 guidance, which was referenced during the call.
