Rain Disrupts IPL 2026 Match Between KKR and PBKS at Eden Gardens
Heavy rain forced a stoppage in the IPL 2026 clash between KKR and PBKS at Eden Gardens with Shahrukh Khan in attendance.
Actor Shahrukh Khan made his first appearance of the 2026 Indian Premier League season at Eden Gardens to support the Kolkata Knight Riders during their match against the Punjab Kings. The contest was interrupted by inclement weather after only 3.4 overs of play.
At the time of the stoppage, the Kolkata Knight Riders had reached 25/2. During the rain delay, Khan was observed engaging with team personnel, including a conversation with the CEO, and offering support to injured player Harshit Rana. Officials have yet to provide an update on the resumption of play as ground staff work to manage the pitch conditions caused by the rainfall.
