QIZ Security raised $17M to help organizations prepare for quantum-safe cryptography. Bessemer and Merlin led the seed round as enterprises face PQC transition deadlines.
QIZ Security, a cryptographic posture and post-quantum cryptography management startup, raised $17 million in a seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Merlin Ventures. The New York-based company helps organizations manage their cryptographic assets and transition to quantum-safe standards. Its platform handles discovery, inventory, and governance of cryptographic keys and certificates across complex enterprise environments, the company said.
The team has worked with more than 100 organizations on quantum readiness over the past six years, according to QIZ. The startup is backed by clients that include some of the largest global enterprises, though it did not name them.
The funding will support product development and customer expansion as businesses face mounting deadlines for post-quantum cryptography migration. The round included Evolution Equity Partners, Qbeat Ventures, Singtel Innov8 and Qino Cyber Capital.
