PwC Bermuda promoted three new partners on Tuesday, including Damian Sealy, who heads the firm's actuarial practice. Sealy joined from PwC UK in 2019 and has since expanded the actuarial team across Bermuda and the Caribbean. His previous roles include a stint at WTW, where he worked as a pensions and insurance consultant.
David Cartmill and Crystal Pittendrigh also received the promotion. Cartmill leads the private clients practice, bringing more than 20 years of experience across Bermuda, the UK and Australia. Pittendrigh, with 18 years in financial services, focuses on US tax compliance and Bermuda's new corporate income tax regime, particularly for captives and insurance-linked securities.
Arthur Wightman, PwC Bermuda's leader, said the appointments reflect the firm's investment in talent and diversity. "Each brings the insight, experience and drive to help clients innovate and navigate today's challenging environment," Wightman said in a statement.
The promotions come as PwC Bermuda continues to build out its advisory and audit capacity in the region. Sealy's actuarial team now advises insurers, reinsurers and captives on risk and financial matters across both audit and advisory engagements.
