Pawan Kalyan's shoulder surgery successful, second operation in two months

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan underwent surgery on his right shoulder in Mumbai on Saturday. The procedure, which lasted three and a half hours, addressed a severe rotator cuff injury and an avulsion fracture, the Jana Sena Party said in a statement on X.
The party called the surgery “highly successful” and said Kalyan had been moved to a recovery room. Doctors led by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala performed the operation. Kalyan is under close medical supervision, the party added.
Kalyan suffered the injuries in 2016, and the condition worsened over years as supporters grabbed his hands during rallies, according to the party. He postponed the surgery until after completing scheduled official commitments.
