Osisko Development Corp. has changed its name to Osisko Gold Group Inc., effective July 14, after shareholders approved the move at a June 23 meeting. The company's common shares will start trading under the new ticker OGG on the TSX Venture Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange at market open on July 20.
Warrant tickers are also changing on that date. Warrants listed on Nasdaq under ODVWZ will become OGGWZ, while those on the TSXV under ODV.WT.U, ODV.WT.A, and ODV.WT.V will switch to OGG.WT.U, OGG.WT.A, and OGG.WT.V, respectively. New CUSIP and ISIN numbers have been assigned to both the common shares and the warrant series.
Shareholders do not need to exchange their certificates or take any action. Physical certificates and DRS statements remain valid. The company said it expects no interruptions to trading related to the name change.
The rebranding reflects Osisko's shift toward a primary gold and precious metals asset base in North America, anchored by the fully permitted Cariboo Gold Project in British Columbia. The project is the company's flagship development, and Osisko aims to become an intermediate gold producer through its advancement. The portfolio also includes the Tintic Project in Utah, a brownfield property with existing infrastructure.
Osisko Gold has rebranded its website to www.osiskogold.ca.
