Optoma released the UHR90DV, a 4K home theater projector powered by an RGB triple-laser light engine. The unit delivers 5,000 lumens of brightness and covers 96% of the BT.2020 color gamut, the company said.
The projector supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It also carries IMAX Enhanced certification, along with Filmmaker Mode and Optoma's PureEngine Ultra image processing. The laser light source runs up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode without maintenance, according to Optoma.
Optoma said the UHR90DV achieves a 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio and can project screens up to 300 inches. The motorized lens system allows flexible installation in dedicated home theater rooms.
