Ono Hawaiian BBQ Opens Fourth Riverside Location

Ono Hawaiian BBQ opened its fourth Riverside restaurant Friday at 3765 La Sierra Avenue. The fast-casual chain, known for Hawaiian Plate Lunches and island-style dishes, now runs more than 130 locations across California and Arizona.

The family-owned company was founded in Southern California in 2002. It recently announced plans to enter Texas, its third state. The new Riverside store is one of several in the Inland Empire, part of a push that Liang described as measured expansion.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ serves made-to-order plates such as Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu, and Kalua Pork, all grilled fresh in each restaurant. The menu includes the brand's signature macaroni salad and steamed rice.

The restaurant joins existing Riverside locations as the chain deepens its presence in a market where it already competes with other fast-casual concepts. No further openings were announced for the immediate area.
