Oatey Co. promoted Alan Toot to vice president of engineering, giving him oversight of the company's engineering organization and product development strategy. Toot had joined the Cleveland-based plumbing products manufacturer earlier this year as director of mechanical engineering.
In that role, he accelerated new product development across mechanical categories, improved engineering processes and sped up delivery of product enhancements, the company said. Toot will now define the engineering organization's strategic direction, focused on products that align with market demand and Oatey's long-term business objectives.
