MP's Ladli Behna Yojana August payment delayed; ₹1,750 expected for Raksha Bandhan

Last month, the state transferred ₹1,835 crore to over 1.25 crore women under the scheme's 38th installment, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on July 12. He described the program as a "revolutionary" initiative and said Madhya Pradesh is committed to women's empowerment, according to PTI.

Under the Ladli Behna Yojana, eligible women receive ₹1,500 per month, up from the original ₹1,000 when the scheme launched in 2023. The funds are deposited directly into recipients' bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

Beneficiaries can check their payment status and enrollment details on the official portal. The registration process is offline – applicants must visit their local gram panchayat or ward office to submit forms with required documents.
