Mountain Mike's extends 49ers partnership into ninth season with sweepstakes, win deals

Mountain Mike's Pizza will return for a ninth consecutive season as the San Francisco 49ers' official pizza partner, the chain announced Monday. The 2026 sponsorship includes the return of two consumer campaigns that drove traffic last year: the Legendary Game Day Experience sweepstakes and the When the 49ers Win, You Win promotion.

The Legendary Game Day Experience drew more than 30,000 entries in 2025. This season, two Mountain Rewards members will win club seat tickets to the Week 14 home game against the Los Angeles Rams, plus field passes, custom jerseys and VIP access to the halftime concert. Winners also get free pizza for a year from Mountain Mike's. Entries close Nov. 29.

The win promotion works differently. After every 49ers preseason or regular-season victory, Mountain Rewards members can buy a large pizza at 49% off through the chain's app. The discount is available the Tuesday or Wednesday following the win. For weekday games, the chain is also offering a limited-time bundle: a large one-topping pizza and two premium items for $29, available Monday through Thursday.

Mountain Mike's operates nearly 350 locations across 16 states, with 20 more franchised stores expected to open this year. The San Francisco Bay Area is one of its most saturated markets – the chain was founded there in 1978 – which makes the 49ers partnership a natural fit, CEO Jim Metevier said in a statement.
