MONAT brought hundreds of its independent sellers to Mexico City last weekend for a training and recognition event. The company, a social selling brand focused on haircare and skincare, used the gathering to announce product launches and celebrate a milestone: Barbara Turbay became the first MONAT seller in Mexico to qualify for the Motor Club program, earning a new BMW.
The event included a visit to TikTok's Mexico headquarters for the top 50 sellers. MONAT is a top-five haircare brand on TikTok Shop, the company said. The social commerce channel has become a key growth driver for direct sellers in Latin America.
Product news included the BOND IQ Collection, a haircare line aimed at strengthening hair. MONAT also said its skincare line, led by the Barrier Booster Collection, will launch in Mexico this summer. The expansion into skincare adds a new category for the Mexican market.
Luis Urdaneta, MONAT's co-founder and chairman, said Turbay's achievement "symbolizes what's possible when passion, consistency, and belief come together." The company did not disclose sales figures or the number of new sellers added in the region.
