Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food opened its first Indiana restaurant Monday in Avon, adding a fast-casual plate-lunch option to a strip of global chains on U.S. Highway 36. The restaurant is the chain's 80th-plus location since brothers Kimo and Kalani Mack founded it in 2008, based on recipes from their childhood in O'ahu.
“Some of our favorite memories growing up in Hawai'i were centered around sharing a meal with family and friends,” co-founder Kalani Mack said in a statement. “As we welcome the Avon community into our ʻOhana, we look forward to sharing the spirit of Aloha and creating a place where everyone feels at home.”
