McChip replaced its CFO, corporate secretary, and four of five directors July 24. Carlo Rigillo and Grant Duthie join as the board shrinks to four. No reason was given.
McChip Resources Inc. (TSXV: MCS) replaced its chief financial officer, corporate secretary, and four of five directors in a sweeping boardroom shakeup announced July 24. Carlo Rigillo takes over as CFO and corporate secretary from Ed Dumond, who resigned from both roles. Grant Duthie, a corporate securities lawyer at Garfinkle Biderman LLP, joined as an independent director.
The departing directors include Gordon McCreary, Douglas Bolton, Anthony Weldon and Timothy Gould. Dumond resigned as CFO and secretary but stays on as a director. The company did not cite a reason for the changes. Bo McCloskey remains CEO and director.
Rigillo is a chartered professional accountant with a University of Toronto commerce degree and two decades of experience, McChip said. Duthie holds a JD from Western University and a BCom from the University of Ottawa.
The new board has four members: McCloskey, Rigillo, Dumond and Duthie. The TSX Venture Exchange did not flag the press release for review.
McChip, a natural-resources investment company, did not announce any operational changes alongside the governance shift.
