Maruti Suzuki India reported its highest-ever July passenger vehicle sales on Saturday, with total volumes climbing 34% to 2,41,421 units from 1,80,526 a year earlier, driven by a rebound in compact cars and utility vehicles.
The country's largest carmaker sold 1,96,203 passenger vehicles in the domestic market, up 43.4% from 1,37,776 units in July 2025 – a new monthly record for the segment, the company said in a regulatory filing. Including light commercial vehicles, total domestic sales reached an all-time high of 2,00,123 units.
