Markel Group Inc. named Amy Martin Senior Claims Adjuster for Warranty & Indemnity within Markel International, the division that runs its non-U.S. operations. She will be based in London.
Martin will oversee complex, high-value claims across the Transactional Liability portfolio, including warranty and indemnity, contingent risk and tax coverage. She reports to Rachel Nestor, Claims Manager for Management and Transactional Liability, Cyber and Technology, Media & Telecommunications at Markel International.
Her role includes working with underwriting, actuarial and reinsurance teams, plus managing agents, coverholders and service partners across multiple jurisdictions, the company said. Martin will also help develop Markel's Claims Value Proposition, using claims insights to inform contract wording, coverage development and renewal strategy.

Martin brings more than 10 years of experience across insurance claims and legal advisory roles in both private practice and in-house positions. Most recently she was a Senior Claims Adjuster at Chubb, managing complex UK and international professional indemnity claims. She is a qualified solicitor with experience handling multi-jurisdictional claims across primary and excess layers.
